SINCE 1996
Since 1996, I was introduced to the world of photography. Not by choice, but by circumstance. It was a world of lenses, lights, and shadows, strange and uninviting at first. I did not step in willingly, I was pushed, almost forced, into capturing moments I did not yet understand. At the time, I thought it was simply a skill to learn. But slowly, I realized it was more than that. It was a language, silent yet profound, a way to speak without words.
Yet, my story does not begin with cameras or darkrooms. It begins with a question I had to face before anything else: Who am I?
Who is EMBUN?
I am not merely a name, nor am I simply an identity assigned to me. I am the morning dew clinging to leaves, the soft light breaking through the gaps of the trees, the subtle emotion hidden in smiles no one notices. I am a wanderer in the world of visuals, a seeker of stories that cannot be spoken, and a collector of moments that demand the heart to pause.
Photography became my mirror. Through it, I began to see myself not as someone pushed into a path, but as someone who could shape it, feel it, and understand it. Each captured frame was not just an image, but a reflection of who I am, the way I perceive the world, and the way I wish to be remembered.
I am EMBUN flowing quietly, leaving traces that linger, subtle but undeniable. I am the quiet reflection of fleeting moments, the pause in a hurried world, and the whisper of stories that deserve to be seen and felt.
